Rodney Schwartz is CEO of ClearlySo. He leads the strategy and growth of the company

Rodney's background is investment. In the eighties he was one of the leading analysts on Wall Street with spells at Lehmans Brothers, Paribas and PaineWebber.

However at the end of the decade he turned his back on what some call ‘the dark side' of the financial business. He founded Catalyst Fund Management & Research in 1997 through which he advised leading social enterprises such as the HCT Group. In 2009 he launched ClearlySo with the aim of helping social businesses and enterprises by offering business support, advice and connections to investors.

Rodney has now dedicated his professional life to the social business and enterprise sector. He helped Just Giving through its early years as Chairman and is also the former Chair of Shelter. He served as Non-Executive Director of Ethical Property Company and is Chair of Do The Green Thing and Spacehive.

He teaches at the Said Business School and regularly speaks at major events such as Skoll World Forum, Good Deals and SoCap Europe. His articles on social enterprise have appeared in leading trade titles as well national newspapers such as the Guardian and Telegraph.
