The Shell Foundation

The Shell Foundation is an independent charitable organisation founded by Shell in 2000. It takes what it calls an "enterprising approach to development around the world" believing the best solutions to poverty are those which are financially viable in the long term.

In 2010 the Shell Foundation became the first company to advertise on our regular newsletters. The charity promoted its forthcoming web based seminars across four consecutive newsletters. In taking this approach they were able to reach out to an intensely targeted audience with a direct interest in social business and enterprise. Our rapidly growing network suits any organisation looking to engage with the sector and exploits our various channels.

In 2010 the Shell Foundation agreed to fund and cooperate with ClearlySo to establish ClearlySo India.
